COLOR CODING to assist you in choosing the right product.
Chlorinated formulations are used in a variety of industrial, commercial, household cleaning products to emulsify/remove grease, grime and stubborn stains while deodorizing, brightening, and sanitizing.
Neutral formulations have a pH of 6.5 to 7.5, are non-hazardous, non-alkaline and do not contain chemicals components like hydroxides, silicates, or phosphates. pH neutral products can clean sensitive surfaces without causing discoloration or etching of the surface.
Alkaline (high pH) based formulations have a pH that is higher than pH7 and are effective at breaking down and removing fatty and oily soils. Alkaline based formulations commonly include - oven cleaners, all purpose cleaners, laundry detergents, and hand soaps.
Acidic (low pH) based formulations have a pH that is lower than pH7 and are effective at breaking down removing difficult stains like rust and mineral deposits. Acidic based formulations commonly include - hard water/mineral deposit removers, toilet bowl cleaners, rust stain removers, tub and tile cleaners, and mold removers.
pH is a measure of how acidic or alkaline a solution is. Water based solutions range from a pH of zero to a pH of 14. The mid point of the pH scale, 7.0, is considered neutral. Pure water is neutral.
